| With a snarl on his lip, Billy Idol was the man who helped make punk commercial and along the way launched the mall version of the spiked hair-do, too. In 1985, Idol brought his English-accented Rebel Yell to the Beacon Theater in New York accompanied by guitar slinger and writing partner Steve Stevens (who he was again touring with in 2004). |
