| Dan Zanes' roots-rock outfit was on its last legs in 1989 when they put in an appearance at NYC's Cat Club. Zanes went on to become a somewhat more serious 'singer/songwriter' (as has brother and Del Fuegos bandmate, Warren) and released a series of children's albums with a little help from a few other celebrity friends like Aimee Mann and Lou Reed. |

| One of NYC's premier metal rockers, guitarist Gary Sunshine and vocalist Alex Mitchell led Circus of Power through a blistering set at Virgin Outlaw just prior to getting signed by RCA Records.
